Variables, Negatives, and Positives, Oh my!

Good afternoon:o) I hope you aren't feeling too frustrated today. A couple of classes had some trouble with staying focused and working today. I have every faith that tomorrow there will be greater focus and attention. In most classes, we got to notes 6A today- Comparing Decimals. BUT you're not doing that tonight. Tonight we are finishing CW4- 5-11 Evaluating Expressions. Remember you don't have to do all of them- just the 5 or 6 problems that you were assigned by your math family. Don't forget- you must use color and show your work. We're learning habits here, people.

Remember-
Addition= mountain
Subtraction= Box/ Arrow/ Circle
Multiplication and Division= Cat.

You all can do this! Put aside that you don't think you're good at math, and that you didn't like your third grade teacher (etc, etc) and just focus on what's right in front of you. You can do it.
