Today's big event was the passback of the quiz. Lots of students didn't do as well as they wanted to, but we talked about how to use this quiz as a learning experience. Next time, let's remember to look for negatives, check your work, and slooooooooow down. You can do it. Remember, you don't want to keep making the same mistakes. It's much better to make new mistakes each time.
So today we went over the warm-up and the quiz and the homework. We didn't cover anything new, except that we talked about how to simplify fractions and how to deal with variables. Every class except Period 5 can redo their quizzed for a higher grade tonight. The homework is p. 275 (17-31 odd) and p. 279 (8 and 10). (If those pages are wrong, please email me- I've posted that from memory!)
Have a beautiful evening, do your homework and redos, and don't forget to get those darned success sheets signed! I don't want anyone to be stuck in detention!
