One Step Equations

Here we are, with me apologizing again. So sorry this is late and Friday's didn't happen at all. Anyway, today we learned how to solve simple one-step equations. We used purple to write the variable and make the roof over the variable side. Then we used INVERSE OPERATIONS (the opposite) to get the variable by itself. After we do the work and find the answer, we substitute the answer in and check to make sure it comes out equal.

Here's an example:
3+g=7 7-3=4 3+g=7
-3 -3 3+4=7
g= 4 7=7

Sorry I don't have the homework up. Check with me tomorrow if you missed it.

Hang in!
Ms. V
