Multiplying and Dividing fractions

Today we learned to multiply and divide fractions. Lo and behold, it turned out to be easy.

Here we go!
Multiplying:
1) No mixed numbers
2) Before you multiply you have to simplify
3) Multiply

Dividing:
1) No mixed numbers
2) Take the reciprocal of the second fraction
3) Change the division sign to a multiplication sign
4) Before you multiply, you have to simplify
5) Multiply.

The homework, sadly, did not make it home with me, so if anyone is reading and can send me the homework page and problems, I'll post it. Otherwise, it's in your homework helper- and I did check today to make sure that everyone wrote it.

Have a great night!

Hi Ms. Vickery!

HW went well, hopefully, I'll get a perfect score tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure that the first HW assignment was:

Pg. 281 (23-31) odds

But the other half- I am not so sure, I think it was:

Pg. 292 (16-26) or to 24, evens.

HW 17

Good night,
Florie
